Large colour 8-inch touch screen provides users with easy navigation through the Graphical User Interface providing access to test configurations and results. Pre-defined tests allow users to quickly initiate common tests from the front screen with just two screen touches, whilst the ability to store and load user test configurations means that even the least experienced users to run complex tests with a minimum of training.

GOOSE, SV, MMS Support

Zeus has a set of programmable filters to capture live data traffic at wire-speed, allowing users to analyse and decode GOOSE, SV, MMS and other protocols and to save them in PCAP format or calculate propagation delay from local or remote substations.

Many networks such as Utility Communications, Broadcasting and Rail/Transport networks still rely on legacy technologies and interfaces for critical communications applications. xGenius provides unique support for Datacom (V.24, V.11/X.21, V.34. V.36, EIA-530), V.F (4-Wire), E0 Contra and Co-Directional, E1/T1 and C37.94 interfaces through cost effective Hot-Pluggable test interface modules. For applications such as Utility Communications where differential delay measurements are critical, xGenius provides One Way Delay Measurements in both directions simultaneously on all legacy interfaces.

Class Leading Time and Synchronization Test Capabilities

Many modern networks are required to deliver high quality Synchronization over Ethernet. xGenius provides class leading Time and Synchronization test capabilities with multiple test and clock reference inputs and outputs, PTP (IEEE 1588) Master and Slave Emulation, SyncE Emulation, Wander analysis including TIE MTIE TDEV measurements and clock monitoring capabilities on 1544 kHz, 2048 kHz, 10 Mhz, 1 PPS and ToD inputs.

Built in Rubidium/ GPS Clock

xGenius's integrated GPS/GLONASS receiver allows for easy connection to a GPS aerial for acquisition of a high accuracy timing source that can be used to test the phase and timing accuracy of devices and networks under test. A rubidium clock provides the ultimate timing reference in a hand-held battery powered tester with hold-over performance allowing testing for extended periods without the need for a GPS or other clock/ToD reference signal.
